Working closely with the client and their growing family over a long period the existing restricted spaces within apartment have been reconfigured and extended to create additional bedrooms and open plan living space reconnecting the large rear garden to the apartment. The proposed rear single-storey extension is uncompromisingly modern and seeks to contrast and enhance the historic character of the listed property and also provide the flexibility necessary to change the internal spaces within the limits imposed by the listed building
