Eaton Mews
Comprehensive alteration of mews terrace off Eaton Square, Westminster within the Belgravia Conservation Area including planning consent for double basement extension and roof terrace. With the site being enclosed on all sides and facing directly onto the street a decision was made with the commercial developer client early in the project to remove all internal walls, floor and roof leaving only a retained façade. The property was then completely remodelled internally to maximise aspect and daylight to all habitable rooms utilising fire engineered solutions to form an open plan arrangement ensuring light and space within a constructed urban context.
